Glow sticks will keep for up to two years if stored in the original packaging in dry, cool conditions and safety glow sticks will last up to 4 years. When the glow sticks are activated they will glow for 8 hours or more. Ambient temperatures can effect the intensity and glowing time of glow sticks, hot weather will produce a brighter glow for slightly less time, cool weather will produce a slightly dimmer glow for longer time.
